The ingredients needed to make Rasgulla:
  1. Make ready 1 litre Cow Milk
  2. Make ready 2 1/2 cup Sugar
  3. Get 3 1/2 cup Water
  4. Get 1/2 tsp Citric acid
Instructions to make Rasgulla:
  1. Boil milk at low flame, add diluted (citric acid +water) stir it till become curdled.
  2. Strain the curdle(chena) through muslin cloth.
  3. Wash it with water and squeeze it, keep it for rest, now take the dry chena in a bowl and mesh it till smooth consistency.
  4. Make small tight ball.
  5. For chasni:Take a pan, add 2 ½ cup sugar and 3½ cup water let it boil by stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves completely for about 6,7minutes.
  6. In the boiling chasni, add the rasgulla balls, keep it for boil for 5 minutes.
  7. Keep flipping them occasionally. Turn off the flame.
  8. Let them cool down in the syrup for at least 2 -3 hours.
  9. The rasgullas are ready to be served.
